In its early stages, HTC was an original design manufacturer which delved into selling mobile phones like the HTC Wizard or the T-Mobile MDA, but also the Cingular 8125 and they would work with telecom operators which paid a contract manufacturer in order to be in for customized products. Every time when HTC would announce that they would release a product, there was a big stir that was caused among the population and the media was very much interested in any little bit of news about the upcoming events. This is yet another proof of how HTC managed to climb up the ladder and how much its name weighs on the mobile phone market today.
