Free iphones, ipods, PSP & more: is it a scam?
so, we’ve all seen websites that tell you that you can get such expensive items like iphones, ipods and laptops, completely free. Many of us just think it is too good to be true or we suspect that it is a scam. Read on as I explain whether it is a scam or not.
Websites such as Freebiejeebies, claim to offer free gifts such as ipods and PSP for nothing. Those who do not fully understand the system reject the idea. Freebiejeebies are able to offer you free gifts through clever, modern-age, 21st Century marketing. The person firstly signs-up, chooses an item and then must complete an ‘offer’. This offer is usually something that involves a payment for a service or a product which is no more than £10 or $15. However if you live in the UK, this offer may be free if you choose the LoveFilm offer. Which is an internet based DVD renting company. You will need a credit card for signing-up but after you free trial, you can cancel your account and nothing will be charged.
After you complete an offer, you need to ask some of your friends or people to do the same by referring them. They too must sign-up to an offer. Depending on the item that you chose, when you have referred a certain number of people, you can claim your free item! For an ipod shuffle, 2 referrals are required whilst 16 referrals are need for an iphone.
Freebiejeebies are paid commission for a completion of an offer and when you refer people you bring revenue for them. This is how they can offer people completely free products. When people need referrals, people will do the marketing for them for free. Therefore it is a win-win situation. More and more people are creating their own websites in hope for people to visit it and get referred by them. These websites explain the process of getting the product in much detail. These website owners are usually very successful freebiejeebies earners and therefore have actual proof of them receiving the products in photos.
